Catt Henderson, M. Div. - Founder and Director

 Minister Catt Henderson is a dynamic mother, preacher, teacher, and leader shaped by a rich legacy of ministry. Raised in Baltimore, Maryland under the spiritual mentorship of her father, Rev. Dr. Arthur E. Jones, and her mother, Lavern Jones, she began her ministry journey at age 8 through music and youth leadership. She accepted Christ at 12 and deepened her ministry involvement through local and national Baptist conventions.

At a young age, she moved to Dallas, Texas, where she received ministerial training under Rev. Dr. Freddie Haynes and heard her calling from God. In 2018, she became a licensed minister at The Tabernacle of the Lord Church and Ministries in Baltimore under Bishop C. Guy Robinson.  In 2025, Arise Ministries was birthed through her by God .

Minister Catt is known for her creative, relevant preaching style that bridges biblical truth with contemporary themes, and she frequently ministers to women, youth, and diverse audiences. Academically, she holds a B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland, an M.Div. from Hampton University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Theology and Community Engagement. She is also the proud mother of one daughter, London.
